Frequently Asked Questions

Q: As you claim to go beyond the commonly known Andrews techniques I wonder if you have the results of some of your students?

A: Yes, we are fortunate that the performance of students of prior seminars was examined by a team at the University of Vienna headed by Michael Rada.

Prior to having any contact with us or our methods, he interviewed all of the successful fund managers in Vienna. He wanted to know what they had in common. The one factor they had in common was our seminars. Mr. Rada, also wanted to know what techniques they were using. To prevent obfuscation (them leading him in the wrong direction) he looked around their offices, as he was there. It was common for him to find that the charts on their desks would have our hidden geometry lines drawn.

Michael, later was the co author of the software we now give to every course member and became he Vice President of a London hedge fund.

In addition to teaching what Alan Andrews taught we have some separate studies. Our different approach to Andrews is to take some of the things he did and tighten the rules. For example we encourage the use of a specific types of reaction lines. These are exactly what Andrews taught, except our criteria is much tighter...... This particular technique is good for finding reliable probable pivot points that are not exceeded for a year or more, and are worth knowing, even if you trade more often.

Q: And could you explain how your courses are conducted, onsite or Internet?

A: Our program has a high degree of flexibility. A good example is the level two seminars It is common to receive a manual in the mail, along with  software and several video's. In addition it comes with an open ticket to a live seminar or a day with Ron Jaenisch, who gives the seminars.  The seminars are given a few times a year in various locations. When it comes to the internet, we arrange it so that there are mini seminars that are spaced a few weeks apart, these are available for all who are at level two and higher.

Q: Is it necessary to take all courses before a person taking your course
would have had enough information to make informed trades. Or do you
recommend not trading until all courses are taken?

A:  Some of the people who take our level two and specialized courses have years of trading experience and are interested in more tools that give them an edge. They take what fits their style and go from there.

Those that have never traded before, typically take the level two program
and start by paper trading to get practice.

We added the courses beyond level two,  by popular demand, and as a
way to share with course members what we have learned from or recent
research into the vast rich archives of Andrews original writings.

Q: Others have books about the lines on the web that don't work, are they consistent with Andrews teachings?

A: From what I can tell, not even close. But, Alan Andrews was a man who encouraged others to experiment and take credit for what they discovered. When we show techniques in our manual and in our seminar some are from Alan and some are not but we let you know the difference. Where the problem come in is inaccuracies on the web. For example I noticed on one site that has some of Alan's concepts. They claim that he said a specific technique was good for finding reliable lines and what is posted is not consistent with what Alan says on video tapes we have. Our research agrees with what Alan taught on video. This can wind up having a sad ending for someone who uses the false info and blames Andrews, when he said no such thing.

We have software that was built to specifically test the Andrews techniques and can show you the results.
